Unforgiveness Hinders Prayer!

Unforgiveness Hinders Prayer! Mark 11:25-26: “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.” Unforgiveness can severely negate our prayers. While faith strengthens our prayers, doubt and unforgiveness weakens them. We cannot love or communicate with God if we hold bitterness against others. The scripture states clearly that if we want God to forgive us, we must forgive others who may have done us wrong. If you have a disagreement with someone, make every effort to reconcile your differences, with the understanding that conflict causes damage not only to your relationship with others but also with God. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for being a forgiving God who looks beyond our faults. As You’ve called us to forgive, enable us to overcome all bitterness against others and remove resentment from our hearts. Thank You God for heeding to our prayers. Amen!
